VEGETABLE BROTH

  • 2 potatoes

  • 2 carrots

  • 2 celery stalks

  • 1 cup parsley

  • 7 cups of water – 1.75 litres

  • 1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

  • 1 tsp turmeric

  • 1 garlic clove sliced

  1. Bring to the boil.

  2. Allow the broth to cool.

  3. Strain it into a large container and discard the solids.

  4. Drink 1-2 cups a day.

 

This drink is both hydrating and alkalising, and can help flush out toxins from the body.  It can also improve heart health by helping to reduce bad cholesterol and lower blood.
