PORRIDGE

1 serving

  • 1 cup milk

  • 1/4 cup oats

  • 1/2 tsp ground seeds

  • 1/2 tsp honey (to taste)

  • Fruit: berries, banana, stewed plums or apples

  1. Add the oats, seeds and milk to a pan

  2. Slowly bring to a boil

  3. Reduce the heat and simmer until the oats have softened

  4. Add fruit and sweetener of choice

I make this in the morning and have worked out that for my hob and saucepan I can turn it to number 4 heat seating and set the time for 24 minutes, then I go off and get ready for work and the alarm goes off to tell me its ready. Its a great easy, healthy breakfast.
