OAT MILK

4 portions

  • 100g oats

  • 600ml water

  • Vanilla pod seeds

  • 4 Medjool dates

  • ¼ tsp cinnamon

 

  1. Soak the oats in water for 20 mins. Then rinse in a sieve.

  2. Put the oats and 600ml of fresh water and all other ingredients into a blender and whizz on high until smooth.

  3. Strain the milk through a muslin cloth or nut milk bag.  Use your hands to squeeze out as much as you can.

  4. Store the oat milk in the fridge for 2-3 days.  Shake up before using.

  5. You can compost the oat pulp instead of throwing it away.
